Jourová voted the most influential woman in Czechia

According to Forbes magazine, EU Commissioner Věra Jourová has been voted the most influential woman in the Czech Republic, while Prague High State Attorney Lenka Bradáčová ranks second and Finance Minister Alena Schillerová third.

According to the Czech edition of Forbes, Věra Jourová is now considered one of the most influential female politicians in Brussels. She became more visible thanks to the enforcement of GDPR and the Dieselgate case. Joruová also stands out against technological giants like Facebook and Google.

The second most influential woman in the Czech Republic, according to Forbes, is High State Attorney Lenka Bradáčová, who had led the ranking in the last six years. Third place is held by Minister of Finance Alena Schillerová.

To compile their list, Forbes observed more than 300 women of different professions throughout the year, including company owners, managers, and women in the public domain, finance, and justice. The Forbes editors also observed women from non-profit organizations, culture, sports, and opinion leaders.

Alongside the Forbes magazine poll, Jourová also became one of the most influential personalities in the prestigious Time magazine rankings a few weeks ago.
