EuroWeek became a controversial topic last week, when several photos of foreign men kissing and hugging young girls were posted over the internet. The pictures were taken during EuroWeek’s integration and language camps. The main participants were teenagers and adult “non-European” men. According to some media, sexual molestation of some of the underage girls had occurred during those courses.

In response to these allegations, Poland’s minister of the interior Joachim Brudziński had requested that Poland’s Police General Commandant “take appropriate action.” He had also consulted the matter with the Polish minister of education.

The state Lower Silesia’s has explained that the investigation into EuroWeek has been completed and that all motions have been sent to the Ministry of Education. Although the police are still conducting their own investigations, he was unable to comment on their progress. The police have secured material evidence from EuroWeek headquarters on Saturday, including photographs.

So far, the prosecutor’s office under whose jurisdiction fall EuroWeek’s headquarters stated that no crime has been reported to them from the foundation.
