Kaczyński declares "acceleration"

Poland is seeing an economic, social and civil acceleration, declares Law and Justice (PiS) chairman Jarosław Kaczyński. The leader of PiS also called for unity on the municipal levels of the government.

“We are achieving this acceleration due to our economic successes in the civil and social sectors,” the PiS leader explained during the “Rules of conducting development polices in Poland” conference.

“Let us go forward swiftly together, because Law and Justice can govern well. This acceleration must go down to the local governments,” Kaczyński urged.

Kaczyński underlined PiS’ successes in the municipal elections, because prior to them, PiS had less power at the municipal level. “Today, after the victorious elections, the situation has changed. We have a significant part of the power in local governments. It is time for the acceleration to begin where it wasn’t always there," he said.

Let the march forward be a constant in our lives, so that Poland will advance, so that Poles will advance, so that Polish families will advance materially and spiritually

Although Poland has “serious development potential”, Kaczyński argued that it is necessary to “remove, also at a municipal level, all those mechanisms and pathologies which weaken the strength of development.”

Jarosław Kaczyński highlighted the serious divisions within Poland and argued that these divisions are being made on purpose. “That is why we should work above divisions in local governments. Let the march forward be a constant in our lives, so that Poland will advance, so that Poles will advance, so that Polish families will advance materially and spiritually,” Kaczyński said.
