As of Friday, the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC) has included Czechia among the green countries with a low risk of COVID-19 infection. Traveling to European countries that follow the joint EU traffic light system will thus be easier. For most popular tourist destinations, including Croatia, Czechs will no longer need a negative test or spend time in quarantine.

Passengers from countries or regions classified as green, regardless of their nationality, can enter Croatia without being required to quarantine or test requirements.

Until now, entry into Croatia was possible only after at least 14 days after completion of vaccination, within 180 days after COVID-19 diagnosis, or with a negative PCR or antigen test.

In mid-June, the European Commission launched the “Re-oepn EU” platform, where it is possible to find the rules for entering individual countries of the European Union as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland, depending on the color of the country of origin at the travel traffic light.

The platform uses information from the ECDC and updates it every day. The platform, available for computers and mobile phones, is also available in the Czech language.
