Tarczyński: Merkel’s madness is not the EU’s responsibility

Dominik Tarczyński PiS MP appeared on the Turkish TRT World TV channel and protested at calling the migration crisis a “European problem”. “The EU is not responsible for the madness of Angela Merkel and her quest for cheap labour,” Tarczyński said.

The Polish MP from the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) showcased his appearance and commented on Twitter.

"Where is Saudi Arabia, one of the richest countries in the world, where is Qatar? Most of the refugees are Muslims which are neighbors to this country, so why you are calling this a European problem?" asks Tarczyński in response to the world's refugee crisis.

Appearing on the Turkish TRT program, Tarczyński argued that the migration crisis is a worldwide and not a European problem and questioned why Muslim states such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar, one of the richest countries in the world, were not doing anything to help.

How many Poles blew themselves up? Zero

In another tweet he declared that Poland is not willing to leave the EU.

"We will not leave the EU! This is what the lefties want! They are hoping that we will storm out like an angry child. Let’s fight and return to EU’s Christian roots! We will not let Muslims take away our European Christian culture and history."

Asked by the TRT interviewer whether he was not ashamed of his unsympathetic attitude bearing in mind that thousands of Poles migrated during the time of martial law in the 1980s he replied that the situations are incomparable as Polish migrants never committted acts of terrorism.

"How many Poles blew themselves up? Zero," quipped Tarczyński.
