The survey, conducted by IBRiS, says that 79.4 percent of those polled believed that there should be sex education lessons in schools while 46.5 percent believe lessons should start in primary school. People aged between 25 to 29 years were the most likely to say sex education should start in primary school.

A smaller 32.9 percent say that sex education should be introduced in middle school. More significantly, more women (52 percent) opted for earlier sexual education than men (42 percent).

Of those surveyed, 60 percent declared that parents should be the main source of knowledge about sex while 30 percent stated that schools should be the most responsible for that. All of those polled agreed that children should not get this knowledge from the internet or their peers.
