Following the results of a new poll conducted across Europe, it was revealed that Hungary is the most pro-Trump country within the European Union. The only other nation more supportive of Trump was Serbia, but Serbia is outside the EU.
The poll, which was conducted by Novus and Gallup International in October, showed that overall, 69 percent of Western Europeans would vote for Kamala Harris, while 46 percent of Eastern Europeans would cast their vote for her.
In Eastern Europe, Trump would pick up 36 percent, while he would pick up only 16 percent in Western Europe. In certain countries, Harris’ numbers are sky-high, such Denmark (85 percent) and Finland (82 percent). In Germany, she would also receive 73 percent of the vote, with Trump getting just 13 percent. In Switzerland, Trump would receive 25 percent of the vote, in the U.K. 27 percent, and in Austria 16 percent.
However, Trump would perform much better in countries like Bulgaria, where he would tally 49 percent of the vote.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who remains extremely popular in Hungary, has come out with a full endorsement of Trump, arguing he would bring peace to Europe. Notably, his party would receive 44 percent of the vote, according to the latest polling, which means Trump would receive even more support than Orbán. However, what may account for this is the prevalence of several right-wing parties in Hungary, many of them farther to the right than Fidesz, which would ostensibly support Trump over Harris.
