The case of a Ukrainian refugee has sparked headlines across the globe, with the young woman, Iryna Zarutska, stabbed to death in cold blood on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina. The footage of the incident is explosively disturbing, showing the hooded figure of Decarlos Brown Jr. rising up behind the woman, who appears completely unaware of her fate, before he stabs her to death.
Now, an Alternative for Germany (AfD) politician, Tomasz Froelich, who represents the popular party in the European Parliament as an MEP, is saying something that many wish U.S. politicians, especially Republicans, were also willing to say.
“Black people make up 13% of the population in the USA but account for 56% of murderers. Their homicide rate is 6-8 times higher than that of Whites. For every three Black people killed by Whites, seven Whites are killed by Blacks—despite there being almost five times as many Whites as Blacks in the USA. Now, 23-year-old Ukrainian Iryna Zarutska was brutally stabbed to death by a repeatedly convicted Black man in Charlotte, North Carolina,” Froelich wrote on X.

It is also unlikely that professional football players will kneel before every game in honor of Iryna. Why? Quite simply: She was White. And racism against Whites doesn’t exist, as ‘anti-racist’ ideologues have taught us. How much longer should Whites, conditioned by instilled feelings of guilt, endure their own degradation? Enough is enough! Iryna Zarutska is certainly no less valuable than a George Floyd. WHITE LIVES MATTER!”
Notably, Republicans across the United States are terrified of even mentioning White people as a group, let alone saying “White lives matter.”
President Donald Trump notoriously never mentions White people directly in any of his speeches, certainly never as a group or community that has interests or desires or ambitions, despite the population still constituting a majority in the country. Instead, Trump endlessly panders to Hispanics as well as Black people, representing 11 to 12 percent of the U.S. population. Despite constant claims of Trump being a racist, his love affair with Blacks includes promises for billions of dollars in giveaways and benefits. His “Black Platinum” plan was rife with all sorts of these giveaways, all while Black people vote for Donald Trump at the lowest rate of any racial group.
Meanwhile, White people are his core voters, as poll after poll has shown, but Trump has never shown any outward sign that this group even exists. He, for example, persistently talks of “Black communities,” but never “White communities.”
Many Republicans in his party are even more scared to touch this topic. It is unclear if there is even a single Republican in Congress who explicitly refers to a “White community” in the United States, let alone expresses any belief that White people as a group have interests or feature “lives that matter.”
This double standard is wearing thin on Americans of European descent, especially as hundreds of thousands have been murdered, over the last decades at the hands of the Black community — often with little media fanfare.
Even Google AI itself is willing to provide a clear answer in regard to this trend. Referring to Black-on-White homicides, Gemini writes: “Rough estimate from 1960 to 2024 suggesting roughly 260,000 to 340,000 such homicides based on extrapolations and available data. While consistent yearly figures are unavailable prior to the 1980s, analyses of detailed data show Black-on-white homicides outnumbered white-on-Black homicides during this period.”
This does not include assaults, robberies, and thefts. In many ways, the White community has paid reparations many times over.
It is notable that a Ukrainian refugee, who is not even an American citizen, sparked yet another debate on Black-on-White murder in the United States, but even while the Republican base, along with many independents, is not shying away from the issue, the Republican leadership continues to treat it like a third rail.
AfD politicians, in contrast, tend to recognize that White people, and especially ethnic Germans, exist and may also have their own interests and concerns — and this group may even want representation at the political level. There is also a recognition that there have been explicit ethnic and racial lobbying groups such as Hispanics, Arabs, Africans, and other groups for many decades — both in Germany and other Western countries.
In fact, Froelich was not done defending his point, decrying on X the double standard applied to Whites, especially in debates about racism.

The truth is: This supposed “anti-racism” is not, as one might mistakenly assume, in opposition to racism, but is its own ideology with its own demands, an ideology that implies that we Whites are all somehow racist and that structural racism exists everywhere.
This structural racism, which allegedly disadvantages Black people—for example, in terms of income—is said to stem from the fact that the systems they live in were created by Whites. The latter are therefore also privileged (“White privilege”).
This way of thinking is, of course, overly simplistic and is contradicted by empirical evidence, as, for example, other “People of Color,” such as Asians, earn significantly higher incomes than Whites in the USA. And Black people, too, often achieve above-average results in some structures created by Whites, such as those in the sports or music industries.
The anti-White anti-racism agenda has a pleasant-sounding label—who wouldn’t want to be “anti-racist” these days? This pulls many people into a societal conflict in which the left-liberal establishment pits minorities against the majority society. This sometimes leads to absurd situations, such as when White BLM activists accuse African Americans of anti-Black racism simply because they consider it unhelpful when, for instance, cars are randomly set on fire and shops are looted in the wake of “anti-racist” protests against “White privileges.”
Black people, who are supposedly oppressed by Whites, are now being encouraged to turn the tables and create new conditions. Many of them jump on this bandwagon, as they see it as a path to political power.
He further writes that in many cases, these tactics are used to eventually assert dominance, and the ruling class recognizes this. In turn, he said that “constant recognition from the ruling class becomes necessary,’ including through kneeling, as seen during BLM protests.
“Leftist guilt-mongers play along with this game. Why? Because for a long time, those who marched in Black Lives Matter demonstrations as Whites and declared George Floyd a saint could gain moral distinction and political ground, while at the same time cowardly ducking and keeping silent when a young White woman like Iryna Zarutska was brutally stabbed by a Black habitual criminal, just to avoid accusations of racism. Pure ethnomasochism! I would be ashamed if I were like that,” he wrote.
Notably, despite the incredible details of the case surrounding Zarutska’s death, including the fact that her killer had 14 previous convictions, many media outlets have chosen to remain silent on the story, as it does not fit their chosen narrative.
X user End Wokeness has been pointing out this double standard, along with thousands of other X users, which also prompted a comment from Elon Musk.

However, American Republican politicians continue to complain only about out-of-control crime while missing other nuances of this overall story. They have little to say about the disproportionate levels of violence directed towards White people from the Black community, and to a lesser extent, also from the Hispanic community.
With some urging from European politicians like Froelich, maybe at least some American politicians will gather enough courage to address one of the biggest elephants in the room of American politics.
