A 15-year-old girl was dragged into a bush on Saturday evening, Jan. 3, in the Wiesbaden district of Biebrich and raped by two men “speaking broken German,” who remain on the run from police.
The attack occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Kasteler Straße in the Wiesbaden district of Biebrich. According to the victim, the two suspects held her down, pulled her into a bush, and one began raping her while the other one stood nearby.
The men then fled on foot towards Mainz-Kastel, while the teenager managed to get herself to a police station to report the incident, according to Wiesbaden Aktuell.
The suspects are described as being approximately 20 years old and standing about 1.85 meters tall with narrow to average builds. The first perpetrator reportedly had short black hair, a three-day beard, and spoke broken German with a heavy accent. He was seen wearing a black fanny pack and a dark brown and black tracksuit consisting of a sweater and sweatpants.
The second suspect was noted for having a broader face, short medium-brown hair, and a patchy three-day beard with gaps near the neck. He also did not speak German well and wore a black tracksuit that included a hoodie and sweatpants.
The Wiesbaden Criminal Investigation Department has officially launched a rape investigation and is appealing to the public for assistance. They are asking anyone who was traveling in the Kasteler Straße area at the time of the incident, whether on foot, by car, or on a bicycle, to come forward if they observed any suspicious behavior or individuals matching the descriptions.
The police said the case is a priority for them and that the young victim is currently receiving professional support.
It remains unclear whether the police have obtained any surveillance footage that may aid in the investigation.
