Germany: Syrians and Afghans reach new violent crime highs, over 10x more likely to commit a violent crime than a German

"The migration crisis is first and foremost a crime crisis," said the German police union's deputy chairman last year. New data shows nothing has changed.

A shocking new report detailing crime data from Germany, known as the Bundeskriminalamt’s (BKA) “situation report,” reveals once again the massive over-representation of foreigners in the violent and serious crime statistics, in particular groups like Syrians and Afghans.

The data, which was shared by Bild, reports on “crime in the context of immigration” for 2024. It shows that Syrians and Afghans are far more likely to commit violent offenses than Germans.

  • 163 out of 100,000 German residents were recorded for a violent crime.
  • For Syrians, this is over 1,000 percent higher, reaching 1,740 per 100,000.
  • For Afghans, this figure is 1,722 per 100,000.

As Remix News has reported in the past, claims that migrants are younger do not explain the difference, as young Germans are far less likely to commit crimes than foreigners. In fact, German youths are becoming even more peaceful than in the past.

Notably, both groups were welcomed to Germany under the pretext that they were fleeing war, only for a tremendous number of them to inflict violence, rape, and other serious offenses against the German populace.

A similar crime distribution is seen in sexual and drug offenses, underlining the significant crime threat from these foreign populations.

The data shows that non-German suspects now account for over 40 percent of serious crimes, despite only making up 16 percent of the population.

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) stated that the German government will enact tougher measures to combat these trends. He said that anyone who integrates, works, and follows the laws in Germany will not have issues. However, those who are criminals or classified as a danger will lose their right to stay. As a result, the interior ministry is seeking to increase deportations, including for those from Syria and Afghanistan, to reduce the rate of perpetrators.

What is even more amazing is that many of these “German” offenders are actually foreigners. There are millions of dual passport holders in Germany, and if any of them commit crimes, they are listed as “German” in the data.

Remix News has written extensively on this distorted data (here, here and here), outlining how many of the crimes listed as having been committed by a German are indeed being committed by Germans with a migration background, or in many cases, dual passport holders.

This trend of violent crimes and foreigners is seen at every layer of society, including in German schools, where 40 percent of violent crime is committed by foreigners.

Following the Islamist terror knife attack at the “Festival of Diversity” in Solingen last year, German police union (DPoIG) deputy chairman Manuel Ostermann slammed the status quo, called the immigration problems a crime problem, and said Islam was the greatest threat to the country in terms of security.

“Yes, our country has changed. Nothing about it is positive. Germany is no longer a safe country. We have a massive problem with knife crime. The migration crisis is first and foremost a crime crisis. And the greatest danger to life and limb of people living in Germany is clearly posed by Islamists. This reality can no longer be ignored or tabooed. Now is the time to recognize reality and implement clear measures in the constitutional fight against precisely this security policy madness,” Ostermann said in a video statement.
