The United States Senate has passed an acclaimed bipartisan resolution which commemorates the 75th anniversary of the tragic 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
“The heroic actions of the Polish underground resistance during the World War II and the brave citizenry of Poland provide a valuable lesson in perseverance and patriotism,” the resolution reads.
The document emphasized that the 1944 Warsaw Uprising was a part of “a nationwide resistance against the German Nazi occupation of Poland.”
