The International Kraków Book Fair is a true celebration for readers. Out of the 781 exhibitors, 102 will be foreign publishers. The motto of this year’s edition are the words of Arturo Perez-Reverte: “Books are a gateway through which you walk out into the street.”
Since 2014, the organizers have invited a representative of a foreign country as a special guest. This year it is Sweden. Thanks to the literary saloon organized by the guest, it will be possible to establish cooperation between Polish and foreign publishers and cultural institutions.

Among the guests of the Fair, attendees will be able to meet Polish authors, publicists and celebrities such as Olga Tokarczuk, Wojciech Cejrowski, Szczepan Twardoch and Katarzyna Bonda.
In addition to the events directed at readers, the Expo is also a place for business meetings between publishers, booksellers, librarians and wholesalers.
The 22nd International Kraków Book Fair will conclude on the 28th of October.
