The 100-year-old Stanisław Bigos, a former fireman and Polish partisan, just survived his battle with coronavirus at the Central Clinical Hospital in Warsaw.
One of the hospital staff members, Iwona Sołtys, celebrated Bigos’ dvictory over the deadly disease on social media.
“Mr. Stanisław Bigos, the 100-year-old patient from the Central Clinical Hospital has been cured. Mr. Stanisław, we wish you good health, good spirits and strength.”

The deputy minister of the interior, Błażej Poboży, commented on Bigos’ return to health, writing a short message on social media: “Great news from our hospital! Warm regards for the patient! Congratulations to the doctors!”
