Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki declared that starting April 20, Poland will initiate a gradual easing of certain coronavirus-related restrictions.
“We’ll start with opening forests and parks, but we do not treat this as an invitation to uncontrolled recreation and widespread walks,” he said, explaining that this is meant to help the mental health of Poles.
“Today, we are launching a counterattack. I am convinced that we have the right tools for this,” the prime minister said. “To a large extent, we managed to avoid the uncontrolled increases in infections and deaths, observed in Western countries,” he added
