CEDC, Żubrówka’s producer boasted that they had sold 82,000 9L boxes of the vodka in Duty Free areas in 2017. This makes Żubrówka the best-selling Polish vodka. Second was Żołądkowa Gorzka (65,500) and third was Belvedere (63,500).
Żubrówka sales in duty free areas have seen a 6 percent increase in 2017 compared to 2016. According to IWSR magazine ranking, Żubrówka is in the top of growth of sales among alcohols between the years 2012-2017.
The most famous version of Żubrówka is the original “Bison Grass” which includes grass from the Białowieża Forest national park, home of the rare European Bison
According to another magazine, Shanken’s IMPACT, Żubrówka is the third best-selling vodka worldwide, only behind Smirnoff and Absolut. CEDC states that Żubrówka’s overall sales have increased by 11.3 percent in 2017 compared to 2016.
