Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, who has gone on to create a new popular show on X, said during a speech in Hungary that the United States blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which was built to transport gas from Russia to Germany.
“The world is resetting completely. The post-war order is collapsing. NATO is going to collapse, obviously. You can’t have the driver of NATO, which is the United States, sabotage Germany’s main source of cheap energy in Nord Stream. The Biden administration blew up Nord Stream. And the Germans are so self-hating they won’t say anything about it. They sort of put their head down, ‘No, I don’t want to talk about that!’ Okay, but I do want to talk about it because it is important.
First of all, it was the biggest act of industrial sabotage in history. Second, it was the largest man-made CO2 emission in history, which if you’re a global warming cultist is like the devil himself come to Earth, and the Biden administration did that. But third and most important, it was an attack on Germany, which is the most powerful country in Western Europe and America’s last main ally, and we just attacked our most important ally. NATO cannot stand long term. At some point, the Germans are going to wake up and be like, wait a second, we had chemical plants two years ago and now we don’t. You just wrecked our economy. I just don’t think it can continue after that. Maybe I am wrong. But I don’t see how it does.”
Carlson made the comments during a scathing speech against the political climate in present-day United States, saying that the country is “led by fools” and most of the people supporting these “fools” are urban dwellers who live in a prison of their own making.
Speaking at an event of Hungary’s Mathias Corvinus College, Carlson said that although the United States is the most beautiful country in the world, it is now run by fools, the reason being that they are voted in by people who live in a virtual prison.
“The ruling party is the childless, the unmarried, working for low wages for large corporations and living in tiny apartments in overcrowded cities rife with crime, having food delivered by immigrants, and spending time glued to a screen,” he said.
He added that unlike such Democrat voters, Republicans may be poor, but they live close to nature, recognize trees and birds, know how to cook, appreciate silence and each other’s company, and can talk to each other.
Carlson said that in the U.S., there is a huge selection of everything, except the media, where everyone says the same thing and everyone lies. Answering a question, he said that during his 24 years at Fox News, they never interfered in what he could say on the screen. Despite this, according to him, those who tell the truth are punished in the media in the U.S., while a politician has never been held accountable for lying.
He cited the example of how, because of lies in the media, he believes everyone is convinced that Ukraine is close to defeating the Russians. Although he himself is against Russia, he said that everyone can see that a Ukrainian victory is impossible because Russia has many more soldiers and a larger army, so it is almost certain that the larger country will win the war.
Asked about who he pays attention to in the United States, Carlson said he is looking out for people who are not allowed into the mainstream media. Carlson said the basic premise is that not just one person, but a whole network is working to lie, and anyone who tries to tell the truth is marginalized and punished.
