First place was taken by Czech firm Prusa Research and second by Czech’s Kiwi.com. Two Polish companies have also found themselves in the top 10 – TenderHut (7th) and Salelifter (9th).
For the first time, a new special Social Impact Award was given to Polish Saule Technologies, for working on a new kind of solar panel.
Overall, 18 Polish companies found themselves in the top 50 as well as 8 Lithuanian, 7 Czech, 7 Croatian, 3 Slovak and 2 Hungarian.

Agnieszka Zielińska of Deloitte explained that “60 percent of companies are those which have found themselves in the rankings for the first time.” This shows how quickly new companies are developing and how tight competition is.
The most commonly appearing companies were those from the software sector – 32. 11 companies are from “media and entertainment” and seven are computer hardware producers.
