Following the shooting murder of a TIkTok influencer named “Turkish” in the multicultural district of Seine-Saint-Denis in Paris, a suspect has been arrested in Spain three months after the killing.
Haissam F. is suspected of having killed the 29-year-old Umtucan A., also known as “Umut” to his friends and “Turkish” on TikTok, on Oct. 10 in the Bel-Air district of Seine-Saint-Denis at around 8:30 p.m. after an argument broke out between the victim and four other individuals. One of them raised a pistol and shot the victim.
The gunshot wound hit a vital area, with the medical examiner’s report indicating “an orifice on the left arm, another on the left flank with a possible exit orifice at the height of the right shoulder blade.” Police found one 9mm shell casing on the scene.
In addition, a video of the man’s body being carried away by rescue workers was published online.

Police believe Haissam F. took out his weapon and shot Umtucan A. and then fled the scene. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics but died from his injuries, prompting an investigation into murder by an organized crime group.
It still remains unclear why the argument broke out.
“It is not a clash between gangs, but more certainly a rivalry between delinquents,” a police source told Le Parisien. The source added that the victim was “unfavorably known for vehicle trafficking,” and was arrested in the past for driving a stolen Toyota Rav4.
Following his death, many of “Turkish’s” 50,000 followers on TikTok offered their condolences.
Haissam F. was arrested in Barcelona, Spain, and was found with a Kalashnikov, two pistols and two hunting rifles. Haissam F. was transferred to Madrid, where he is now awaiting extradition to Spain, according to French news outlet Le Nouveau Detective.
