The British state is crumbling and its leaders are standing idly by

British elites are not just facing a war led by "right-wing extremists," but rather one by those replacing British society with another, aiming to take over or destroy the legacy of many generations, writes columnist Stanisław Janecki

In the United Kingdom, we’re witnessing a scenario that could unfold anywhere in Europe, including Poland.

The most ludicrous explanation of what’s happening there came from Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who warned of “extremists trying to sow hatred, intimidating local communities.” Equally senseless was the statement from Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, “There is no room for criminal violence and riots on the streets of Britain’s cities.”

Yet, there seems to be room for arrests, trials, and prison sentences.

On Aug. 5, 2024, the U.K. government convened a COBRA meeting, a protocol for crisis situations. The government views this as a justified response to “anti-immigrant riots” or, as clumsily put by Prime Minister Starmer, “far-right thuggery.”

This “thuggery” erupted on Aug. 4 and 5, 2024, in cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol and many others. The official narrative was simple: Far-right thugs attacked immigrant-run shops, torched hotels housing asylum seekers, clashed with leftist fighters against racism and xenophobia, and battled police upholding democratic order. The “right-wing thugs,” as the term implies, are depicted as pure evil, while their leftist adversaries are portrayed as people with noble souls and intentions.

On July 29, 2024, 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana, born in Cardiff to Rwandan immigrants, attacked children dancing in Southport, killing three girls and injuring 10 other people. The left was stirred by a rumor intended to motivate the right, claiming the perpetrator was a Muslim asylum seeker, one of thousands arriving by boat to Britain.

As if that changes the essence of the matter, but this narrative facilitated a release of fury on “racists” from the “far right,” pretending those arriving by boats are angels and skilled professionals.

Prime Minister Starmer and Minister Cooper are not just facing a war led by “right-wing extremists,” but rather one by those replacing British society with another, aiming to take over or destroy the legacy of many generations, nullifying British civilization’s heritage. This process is also underway in many other countries. Left-liberal media hunt “right-wing extremists,” “racists,” and “xenophobes,” much like Prime Minister Starmer does. It doesn’t occur to them that these “extremists” and “racists” might enjoy broad social support. The British state is crumbling — its achievements, culture, customs, law, symbols, and moral and social order.

Starmer’s folly lies in his attempt to pacify the “white” part of society as if they are responsible for dispossessing and ruining Great Britain. In doing so, the prime minister becomes hostage to newcomers of various generations to whom he attributes greater rights. This is supposed to be the cure for “racism” and “xenophobia.”

Essentially, Starmer and his government are acting as trustees of a bankrupt estate. But it will be futile, for those taking over Britain (and other countries) will show no mercy even to them. This is already a war, and playing the progressive fool, favoring those who wage this war, will soon leave nothing to salvage in the U.K. or Europe.
