A German youth said he was raped in a school toilet by five Syrians while he was just 13 years old, but that the case was thrown out by a judge, despite the fact that DNA was reportedly collected after the rape.
“I was raped by five Syrians in the school toilet,” the youth told German commentator and media presenter eingollan during a street interview at Berlin’s Alexanderplatz. When she asked him how he was raped, he said: “Just like that.. Carried by five people. I was like a plank in the air, so to speak, and they all carried me into (the toilet).”

Afterwards, the judge just let them go.
When asked by @eingollan_real if they were punished in court, he said that DNA samples were taken which confirmed the attack, but that "nothing"… pic.twitter.com/XbqR00INX7

He also detailed further abuse and bullying at the hands of the youths, stating: “They poured Tabasco sauce in my eyes, threw me in the organic waste trash can, and so on.
The story, which involved all minors, was not covered in the German media, likely due to the ages of the perpetrators and the victim.
She seems taken aback by the story, stating: “All of a sudden, you throw something like that out. I wasn’t prepared at all… Wow, I’m so sorry that we probably won’t be able to get any sympathy. But it’s amazing that you can talk about it so openly, that it happened to you.”
He then reassures her that the incident happened a long time ago, that he was 13 at the time, and that the alleged perpetrators were in the 10th grade.
When he asked if they were punished in court, he said: “Nothing at all. So I was in court, and they were completely acquitted. Lack of evidence, allegedly. Although samples were taken from me and everything turned out positive, the judge didn’t really care much.”
In the full video, he went further, stating that he could not understand how they could have done that to him, regardless of what kind of background or experiences they had in life. Furthermore, he says that since his political opinion is different from others, he has lost friends over his views.
“Yes, I don’t understand that either. But I also find it relatively sad that every time something happens, people always say, ‘He has his problems, he has his bad experiences and so on.’ And I don’t think you should use that as an excuse for committing such acts, whether they are supposed to be psychological problems. I also have many friends who disagree with me. I’ve also lost a lot of friends because of it.”
The man is dressed in many ways like a typical hipster, normally associated with left-wing views, but during the interview, he says that he is on the side of the right “even if I don’t look like it.”
They then discuss the cases of judges letting criminals loose with no consequences or very little consequences, which has been a hot topic across Europe.
The youth said that “no matter what your problems are, you shouldn’t make excuses for them. So no matter what the problems are, how big the problems are, the child will still be traumatized and is perhaps afraid of experiencing such situations or similar situations again. For example, let’s take my case now, where a child becomes afraid to go to the school toilet or something like that. And this child will be traumatized for the rest of its life. It stays in that little child’s head forever. And it is simply excused because the gentleman has some kind of problem. I don’t think that should happen.”
In one famous case, a rape victim received more jail time than the man who raped her because she had insulted them during her trial.
The 20-year-old woman had been forced to serve a longer prison sentence than the actual gang rapists in the Wandsbek district court for “insult and threat” due to a message she left one of the rapists. She called him a “dishonorable rapist pig” and a “disgusting miscarriage,” and also asked him: “Aren’t you ashamed when you look in the mirror?”
The woman did not know the perpetrator but saw his number circulating on the web after it was leaked by internet sleuths trying to mete out extrajudicial justice in the wake of the lenient verdict.
Syrians are known to be especially overrepresented in violence and sexual crimes in Germany. For example, new data showed they are 11 times more likely to commit violence than Germans.
