Two brothers, Mohammed S. and Ilyass S., have been formally charged following a violent home invasion targeting an 87-year-old woman in Triel-sur-Seine outside Paris.
The assault occurred at 3:00 a.m. on Nov. 28, 2025, when the victim’s home suddenly lost power. After her son arrived to restore the electricity and departed, the attackers entered her residence.
At 5:30 a.m., the woman was confronted in her bedroom by two men, while a third accomplice stood watch in the garden. One of the men threatened her with an iron bar and pushed the 87-year-old woman into her basement to open her safe. They stole a Rolex watch, a Breitling watch, a pearl necklace, and her telephone. The suspects then fled.
Investigators took DNA swabs at the scene and identified Mohammed S., while telephone records revealed that the brother, Ilyass, was in the area during the robbery.
The siblings are a known criminal team and live together in Poissy. They have a history of drug offenses, thefts, and threats.
Police raided their home on Feb. 16, and while they did not find the watches, they discovered narcotics, including amphetamines, cocaine, and cannabis.
Both men deny the charges.
As Remix News has reported numerous times, foreigners or those with a foreign background are vastly overrepresented in criminal statistics, including robbery.
Last year, 30-year-old French-Arab man from Marseille, Yamine H., went on trial for at least 10 extremely brutal home-invasion robberies, including one where he beat a 90-year-old woman and locked her in a closet.
In 2025, two siblings in their 80s, one 82 and the other 84, were violently beaten by a man who was attempting to rob them of jewelry and money. During the robbery, he told them he was robbing them out of revenge for what France did to Africa.
In 2024, an African “serial attacker” beat and robbed 17 elderly women, including some over the age of 90. Also, last year, another African migrant beat and robbed 10 elderly women in Paris, including breaking an elderly doctor’s vertebrae, which kept her from treating patients for two months.
In 2023, Walid E. robbed and raped a 96-year-old woman inside her apartment in Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine).
In another harrowing video, an 89-year-old French woman was robbed and beaten on camera for a mere €10. Remix News has covered many more incidents of elderly French women being raped and robbed by migrants in the country over the years, which are contained in our archives.
France saw a dramatic increase in rape, drug use and physical assault across France in 2021. French President Emmanuel Macron has admitted that at least half of all crimes are committed by foreigners in Paris.
