The Hungarian Pavilion at the 2020 World Expo in Dubai has maintained its popularity, recently welcoming its 400,000th visitor, the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) said on Wednesday.
The tourism agency revealed the 400,000th visitor was a family from Abu Dhabi, who were surprised by the leaders of the pavilion with a memorial card and a gift package containing Hungarian handicrafts.
A promotional video has also been released showcasing the pavilion, which is the largest wooden structure in the Persian Gulf region and built with special, dry construction technology. The video is presented in a novel way by a team of almost 70 people working with spectacular footage.

According to the announcement, the short film shows such important elements of the pavilion as an interactive exhibition based on knowledge and experience presenting the unique water resources of Hungary, and a restaurant offering traditional Hungarian dishes with a twist.
The agency also highlighted The Aqua Bar at the pavilion, where visitors can taste special Hungarian mineral waters, and the shop where visitors can buy Hungarian handicrafts.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until the end of March this year, having initially been postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
