Zeman and Merkel have a lot to discuss. Relations with Russia, EU affairs and the current political situation in both countries, bilateral economic collaboration and of course migration.
The president will also sit down with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier. A part of his visit is reserved for a meeting with representatives of German companies that are investing in the Czech Republic.
Zeman’s state visit is scheduled from September 19th to 21st. President Zeman will address the media later once his visit is over.
