The unofficial candidate in the French presidential elections, the popular author and commentator Eric Zemmour, is has spoken up about the crisis at the Polish border, openly praising Poland’s determination in face of migrant attacks.

“By defending its border, Poland is giving a lesson to all of Europe,” Zemmour emphasized in an entry on Twitter to which he attached a video in which migrants are trying to break through the barbed wire on the Polish-Belarusian border. The video was previously shared by Polish authorities. Zemmour pointed out that the migrants are shouting “Allah Akbar” in the recording.

The migration crisis manufactured by Belarus continues to escalate. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s government is actively risking the lives and health of migrants through his provocations on the border with Poland. In the last few days, there have been several attempts by illegal migrants to force through the defenses on the Polish-Belarusian border and enter Polish territory.

Media outlets have been filled with declarations of support for Poland and condemnation against Lukashenko from several world leaders.

On Wednesday morning, the Polish Border Guard has informed of further attempts by migrants to breach the Polish border.

“Yesterday (Nov. 16), 161 cases were recorded of illegally crossing of the Polish-Belarusian border. In the case of 34 foreigners, Border Guard officers have released decisions obliging them to leave Polish territory. Two more attempts to forcefully cross the border were also recorded in the evening,” the Border Guard wrote on Twitter.
