A report by the Public Opinion Research Center (CBOS) has found that more than 60 percent of Poles are more than satisfied with living in Poland, the highest result in history.
In August, 64 percent (a 4 percent increase on July) of Poles declared that they are happy with how they and their families are living. The highest satisfaction rates are among the young, the conservative voters and citizens taking part in religious practices.
32 percent of the respondents (a 3 percent decrease on July) claim that their lives are average. Only 4 percent of those polled said that their lives are bad.
The supporters of the current conservative government are the most satisfied amongst voters – 86 percent claim to have good lives.
The electorate of Kukiz’15 are also among those most content. Civic Platform (PO) and peasant party (PSL) voters are the least satisfied, although more critics of the government’s social changes can be found among the PO voters.

Satisfaction is more commonly expressed among young people and those with higher education and higher salaries. Contentment with workplaces is highest among inhabitants of towns with populations between 100 and 500,000.
There has also been an increase in the evaluation of living conditions. 61 percent of the polled claim to be satisfied, 32 percent deem them average and only 7 percent would call their living conditions poor.
28 percent of the polled believe that the overall situation in the country will improve, but 45 percent are of the opinion that it will remain as it is. 18 percent think it will get worse.
