The left laughs right after Alice Weidel mentioned the rapes of young girls at the hands of migrant gangs in the city of Nuremberg

During a session in the Bundestag, Alternative for Germany (AfD) leader Alice Weidel described a case from Nuremberg in which migrants allegedly subjugated underage girls with drugs and forced them into prostitution. Her speech was met with loud interjections in the plenary session, including laughter. According to the official Bundestag minutes, a specific MP, the Left Party’s Katrin Fey, laughed at this specific point in the address.

Weidel had responded to the government statement by Chancellor Friedrich Merz and sharply attacked his policies, describing his words as the “chant of a failed individual“ while accusing the federal government of economic policy failure, continued immigration into social systems, and a catastrophic deportation record.

She then spoke about the consequences of migration policy for internal security. Weidel said that “violent, sexual and crude offenses are not ‘cold statistics,’ but daily companions of fear and ‘concern for our children.”

The AfD chairwoman then detailed the case at the Nuremberg Central Station, where young men from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and North African countries are alleged to have driven girls between the ages of 13 and 18 from precarious circumstances into drug addiction in order to force them into prostitution.

At this point in the speech, the Bundestag chamber grew loud with several heckling incidents. While the initial livestream did not make it clear who was laughing, the official Bundestag minutes later attributed the laughter to Left Party MP Katrin Fey, who serves as the spokesperson for civil and human rights in her parliamentary group, chairwoman of the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid, and a member of the Committee on Internal Affairs.

The official minutes also recorded a shout from Green Party MP Mayra Vriesema at that moment. Weidel continued her speech and asked: “How many Nurembergs are there in Germany? And what have you all – yes, everyone here – done to our country through mass migration, brutalization, and moral decay?“

The broadcast camera then showed Chancellor Merz with a serious expression. While the AfD parliamentary group applauded Weidel, further heckling occurred, including from the Left Party and Green Party MPs.

It remains unclear what exactly was so funny about migrant gangs raping young girls in Nuremberg that it would prompt the laughter from Left and Green Party MPs. In the United Kingdom, tens of thousands of young White girls were raped in the most barbaric fashion, mostly enabled as a matter of government record by left-wing and anti-racist ideologies that led police and authorities to ignore the issue out of fear of being called racist. Girls were raped by dogs, whiskey bottles, and hundreds of Muslim men, according to official police and investigative reports.

Although nothing on this scale has yet been described in Germany, more and more reports are arising of similar foreign gangs plying young girls with drugs, getting them hooked, and then turning them into sex slaves.

The same trend is present in France as well, as documented by Remix News. There, the sex trafficking trade is almost entirely dominated by foreign gangs from North Africa, sub-Sahara Africa, and Eastern Europe.

In her speech, Weidel also attacked Federal Minister of Labour Bärbel Bas. The SPD politician recently caused outrage with her statement that “nobody is immigrating to our social systems.” She further claimed that in another speech that Germany before mass immigration was a “uniform brown” and “gray,” a statement that led some politicians to call for her resignation.

Weidel referred back to Bas’ statements in her latest Bundestag speech, stating: “Anyone who speaks like that hates their own and themselves and has no place in a government.”

The Left Party itself has had a long history of refusing to confront the problem of sexual violence and Germany’s migrant population.

Jan van Aken, who just retired as the co-head of the German Left Party weeks ago, claimed in March of this year that the most prominent cases of gang rape involved all White men during his appearance on a German podcast show hosted by Ben Berndt. Remix News fact-checked his claim.

“So let’s start with gang rape. So the most prominent cases we know of are all white men. Epstein, gang rape, Gisele Pelicot in France, gang rape, all by white men,” said van Aken.

Van Aken further stated: “Gang rape exists, it’s a huge problem. But to pretend that this is a migration problem, I would put a big question mark over that.”

Remix News delivered an in-depth fact-check on his claim, which found his statement was clearly false. In addition to refuting his first claim about only White people being involved in cases of high-profile gang rapes, German statistics also paint an entirely different picture from van Aken’s claim about migrant violence. Germany-wide, approximately 50 percent of all gang rape arrests involve foreign nationals, which predominantly come from North African, Middle Eastern, and sub-Saharan African countries.
