Japan is pleased with its investments in Poland and plans to continue developing new technologies with Poland in an effort to deepen economic cooperation, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki declared after his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo.
In a joint press conference with Abe, Morawiecki emphasized that Japanese companies have been increasing their investments in Poland.
“Today and yesterday I had held a series of talks with the representatives of Japanese business. I’d like to say that companies which have been around here for 20 to 30 years are increasing their investments and are pleased with them,” Morawiecki declared.
The Polish prime minister stressed that in Japan, which is the third-largest economy in the world, there are many investors interested in Poland. Morawiecki added that trade between Poland and Japan is rising at a double-digit rate.
