The famous actor, bodybuilder, and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger visited the Hungarian capital, where he met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
The iconic Terminator actor, a native of Thal, Austria, took a car ride through the streets of Budapest with the politician, visited the Hungarian parliament and the Carmelite monastery, and worked out together in the gym.
The actor went to visit Hungary during his time off, as he is currently filming the second season of the action series Fubar for Netflix in Prague.
The Hungarian prime minister announced the meeting with his “old friend” on the X social network. Orbán subsequently published several photos with Schwarzenegger from the Carmelite monastery, the luxurious restaurant Déryné, and from the gym where they trained together.
“I forgot my T-shirt for working out at home, but the coach had no mercy,” commented Orbán in a photo from the gym. Schwarzenegger dedicated his latest book “Be Useful: 7 Principles for Life” to Orbán as a farewell gift.
On his social networks, Orbán also published a video from the day spent together, where the prime minister sat behind the wheel of a multivan and showed the actor the beauty of Budapest.
Schwarzenegger was not in Budapest for the first time, on the contrary, he returns here quite often. In 2018, he filmed the sequel “Terminator: Dark Fate” in the Hungarian capital.
The former bodybuilder visited Orbán in the middle of work on the action series Fubar, which is currently being filmed in the streets of Prague.
