Hungary’s foreign minister has revealed that the Visegrad Group has agreed to build a high-speed train linking the region.
Péter Szijjártó said the route will make it possible to travel from Budapest to Bratislava and Brno to Warsaw at a speed of up to 250 km per hour.
During the Economic Forum in Krynica, Minister Szijjártó also announced that the study of the project should be completed in the autumn of 2019 and that the Hungarian government will allocate 1.5 billion HUF to the project.
