The 28th Krynica Economic Forum

The 28thKrynica Economic Forum will take place between the 4thand 6thof September. Guests will be able to attend 180 panels, lectures, workshops and regional and national presentations. Apart from the issues of policy and economy, much will be dedicated to the discussion of security, business, technology, culture, energy and technology.

Amongst the guests will be Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki as well as foreign dignitaries and leaders. These include the PM of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis and the deputy prime minister of Romania and the minister of foreign affairs and trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto. 

Forum of Regions

One of the key events of the Economic Forum is the Forum of Regions, which has been held since 2007. This is a platform for discussions and meetings between local leaders and regional elites of Central Eastern Europe and business and science environments. This year’s topics include: the policy of coherence after 2020, new ways of functioning of special economic zones and their impact on self-governments and interregional and trans-border cooperation. 

The Polish foreign minister Jacek Czaputowicz will take part in a panel dedicated to the political security of the Carpathian Mountains.
