Warsaw police have arrested a 36-year-old Azerbaijani migrant after he was caught on film masturbating near two girls at a bus stop, according to Polish police, who released a video of the man’s arrest.
The video of a man masturbating was captured at a bus stop in Ochota, which spread on X. Officers say they identified him only after the footage appeared online, and they dispute earlier claims that the incident had already been reported by phone.

“Police officers have detained a 36-year-old Azerbaijani citizen in the Pruszków County area, who engaged in indecent behavior at a bus stop near the Kopińska Hall in Warsaw. The collected evidence may serve as grounds for deportation from Poland,” he wrote.

Social-media posts said a man approached girls at the stop, then exposed himself behind the shelter and masturbated before leaving in an Uber around 1:30 p.m.
The video was first circulated by journalist Bartłomiej Wypartowicz and then widely shared.

Officers contacted both the person who published it and the person who recorded it, then traced the suspect to his workplace in Pruszków County, where he was detained.
Investigators are examining a charge of forcing another person to submit to or perform a sexual act other than intercourse. That offense carries a prison term of six months to eight years. Police also say the evidence may be used to start a deportation procedure, however, despite previous reporting, no court has filed a formal charge yet.
Interior Ministry spokeswoman Karolina Gałecka had already said on Sept. 1 that police were identifying the man and were in contact with the person who filmed the incident.
One Polish MP, Dariusz Matecki, wrote on X: “Like my post everyone who believes that this creature should be physically castrated before deportation from Poland.”
