In an extensive interview for Polish public radio, Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS), confirmed that there would be changes in the government after the summer holidays in order to improve coordination within the government.
However, he dampened any speculation about a change of prime minister by saying that Mateusz Morawiecki will be staying in his position.
The PiS leader complained that too many government decisions had to go through too many ministries. This, he concluded, means that the government needs to be restructured and streamlined for new challenges ahead.
