According to the victim, she said the incident began on the subway. While speaking to her boyfriend, she was suddenly tapped on the shoulder by an unknown person as she got out of the train.
“I have never seen the person before in my life,” she said. However, the stranger claimed to have been laughed at by the 25-year-old. The Austrian woman denied it and simply went up the escalators.
That’s when the video begins, which showed the victim begin harassed and beaten on top of the escalator.
The aggressive Black woman pulled her hair and called her a “shitty Austrian” and a “bitch.”
Despite up to 40 witnesses, nobody did anything except for one man, according to the victim. That man had a skateboard and threatened the Black woman to back away.
“A whopping 40 people noticed this,” said the Viennese woman. However, she is grateful the one man helped her before the situation could escalate.
Police have opened an investigation, but so far there is no indication about who the perpetrator could be.
