In a video recorded at the Polish border, Belarusian guards can be seen beating migrants and pushing them across the border. As a result of the actions of Belarusian border guards, many women and children fell into barbed wire and Polish border guards are heard calling for assistance.

Polish portal Onet’s investigation has discovered that the recording took place on May 18 and concerns a group of Cubans.

All the individuals who managed to cross were taken care of by Polish guards and medics, but none of them required treatment at the hospital.

The person filming was on the Polish side of the border, and offers more evidence demonstrating how Belarusian border guards are instructing migrants to cross and trying to blind Polish border guards with flashlights.

It also registers pleas from Polish border guards for assistance to be granted to migrants trapped in the barbed wire on the Belarusian side of the border. Once the migrants were pushed across the border, the Poles provided them with medical aid, after which they were informed of having crossed the border illegally and duly returned across the Belarusian border at another location.

The Polish Border Guard announced that the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border recently calmed down and stabilized. However, the Polish Border Guard indicated that most of the people currently trying to cross the border from Belarus to Poland are coming from Russia.
