Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) had detained three businessmen in Łódź who were under suspicion of delivering bribes to an MP.
According to several Polish media outlets, including TVP Info and “Super Express”, the MP in question is opposition MP Stefan Niesiołowski. The MP is also known for his harsh criticism of the PiS government.
The CBA said that the businessmen received lucrative contracts among companies belonging to the national treasury in exchange for delivering financial benefit. Those were not the only profits they received, as CBA claims that decisions in their favor had been made at the Łodź local government and other institutions as well.
Niesiołowski was to negotiate multi-million contracts for the businessmen, who in exchange organized and paid for sexual services for him
“Super Express” claims that “Niesiołowski was to negotiate multi-million contracts for the businessmen, who in exchange organized and paid for sexual services for him.”
“CBA agents possess evidence, in which Niesiołowski is present,” said an investigator. “Niesiołowski was to have used 29 sexual services. The procedure occurred in a flat in Łódź, which belonged to the businessmen. Encounters with the women occurred between January 2013 till the end of 2015.”
Randy Stefan
According to “Super Express”, the businessmen spoke of him as “Randy Stefan.”
Poland’s public prosecutor’s office in Łódz has announced that it intends to charge Stefan Niesiołowski MP with corruption and has filed a request to the Speaker of Parliament for the lifting of parliamentary immunity. Niesiołowski himself denied any wrongdoing and said that he was ready to give up his immunity.
Niesiołowski is an anti-communist movement legend, former Civic Platform member and a former Deputy Speaker of Sejm. Recently he became one of the harshest critics of PiS rules.
