The Mathias Corvinus Collegium this Friday will help those fighting for sovereignty become stronger in Europe and further improve Hungary’s position, the Mandiner news portal states.

Renowned law professors, political scientists and expert representatives of international judicial forums from many countries and legal cultures of the world will come to the conference to share their thoughts on new challenges affecting sovereignty, such as globalization, European integration and digitalization.

Experts from universities such as Stanford or Peking University will be present, while Mathieu Bock-Côté, a world-renowned Canadian sociologist, writer and political commentator, will join the conference online

“I believe that the nation-state continues to offer the political framework that best ensures people’s sovereignty and freedom,” Bock-Côté has stated, adding that “if Europe finally rejects its Christian heritage and roots, then its own history will also become completely unintelligible and incomprehensible.”
