Police are currently searching for four youths who first harassed a dog owner’s dog without provocation or reason and then turned their sights on the dog owner, beating him into the hospital and breaking his nose.

Although the crime occurred on June 7 on Sternstrasse, the police are only now publishing photos of the suspects since they have been unable to make any arrests.

The man was walking with his dog when he became involved in an argument with the four youths.

“The reason for this was that the teenagers were continuously provoking the injured person’s dog,” an officer told Bild newspaper.

When the dog owner reprimanded the youths, one of them punched him in the face. Then, the other three joined and began pummeling the victim with punches and kicks, resulting in numerous broken bones, including the man’s nasal bone.

The four youths fled from the scene. Police launched an intensive investigation to apprehend the suspects, but so far, they have been unsuccessful.
