An elderly Dutch man was beaten so badly by a young migrant male on a BMX bike that the suspect knocked the victim’s dentures out. The incident happened on Feb. 26 in the Dutch city of Deventer but police are only now releasing the footage because they have been unable to apprehend the suspect.

According to police, the elderly man was driving out of a parking lot and did not see the cyclist, who was riding on a sidewalk — not a designated bike path. The elderly man applied the brakes and even rolled down the window to say, “Sorry.” However, the elderly man was not even in the wrong, as the suspect was not supposed to be riding his bicycle on the pavement.

The suspect jumped at the man, striking him multiple times in the face, while screaming at the victim.

The suspect then opened the car door and kicked the victim. He also lifted up his entire bicycle and attempted to strike the elderly man.

Police described the victim as “shocked” by the suspect’s violent reaction. The victim suffered light injuries but also suffered damage to his dentures after they were knocked out of his mouth.

The perpetrator fled the scene but the incident was captured on surveillance video. The Dutch police continue to search for him and published information for witnesses to contact the police here.
