Polish President Andrzej Duda said during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki that the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic would be comparable to the most severe ones that have ever struck both the world and Europe, and that the European continent needs a new stimulus for economic reconstruction.
Duda also said that he has issued a letter to European leaders, including those from the Western Balkans and the EU Eastern Partnership, urging the need for more equitable distribution of EU funds, boosting cohesion funds for encouraging investment and re-industrialization.
