PM Andrej Babiš will attend the summit of Prime Ministers of the Visegrad Group in Bratislava on Thursday.
Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel also accepted an invitation to the joint summit. The main topics to be discussed with the German Chancellor will be EU affairs, such as the forthcoming European Parliament elections, the new multi-annual financial framework, the EU’s external relations and the digital agenda.
As part of the separate talks with Prime Ministers of the V4, PM Andrej Babiš is going to talk about the priorities of the cooperation inside Visegrad Group. The Czech Republic is preparing for its presidency, which it will take over after Slovakia on July 1st of this year.
