The Civic Platform (PO) already knows that it has made a mistake by putting forward the candidacy of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska who remains far behind in the polls.
Among the many candidates she trails behind is “independent” candidate Szymon Hołownia.
How is it possible that a TV showman is beginning to overtake his opposition rivals?
If someone like Hołownia was able to so quickly defeat the main opposition politicians in polls, there can be no doubt about the mediocre quality of the opposition’s strategy.
Their arrogance, indolence, aggression, and lack of constructive messages have melted their electoral base.
Although Hołownia is not able to fill that void, he is attracting some of those disappointed voters to himself.
It turns out that the different groups forming the liberal establishment of Poland are searching anew. Just as Hołownia has been gaining in popularity, a wave of interest has appeared around him.
