The migration crisis initiated by Belarus on the Polish-Belarusian border continues, with the Polish Border Guard recording 51 attempts to illegally cross the border on Tuesday and 80 on Wednesday.
The officers issued 29 deportation decisions for migrants to leave Polish territory. The Border Guard also reported that a group of 35 mostly Iraqi citizens tried to force their way past the border and were all detained.
The spokesperson of the minister-special services coordinator, Stanisław Żaryn, stated that Polish soldiers had found a notebook in the area in the area in which the migrants crossed the border with incriminating information.
“In the notebook, they found information which was mean to help the migrants force their way past the Polish border. Belarusian services are organizing training sessions for the foreigners on how to attack the border,” Żaryn wrote on Twitter.
Additional details from the notebook were also published by the Polish Ministry of Defense.
“In the notes found among the migrants, there was also information concerning methods on how to illegally cross the border provided by Belarusian services. These were mainly shift rotations at border posts, methods on how to lose trails, directions and information on essential camouflage,” the ministry stated via social media.
