Poland’s former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki took part in a reception organized after the inauguration of Donald Trump in D.C. on Tuesday evening.
The PiS politician had the opportunity to talk, among others, with the President of Argentina Javier Milei.
“Wind of change,” Morawiecki wrote on X. “It is blowing faster and faster towards Poland.”

Many have been speculating as to who would be best positioned in Europe to serve as a mediator with the Trump administration.
Remix News formerly reported on Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki putting forth his name and that of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni as the best options, while others feel Hungary’s Viktor Orbán is the best bet, especially when it comes to negotiating tariffs.
Meloni, meanwhile, has made headlines for hitting it off with both Trump and Elon Musk.
The Italian premier was also at the inauguration and posted a message to Trump on X, stating that “Italy will always be committed to consolidating the dialogue between the United States and Europe, as an essential pillar for the stability and growth of our communities.”
