When I left Morocco back in 1991, there were no highways in the country, said Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, following his meeting with Moroccan counterpart El Othmani.

In recent years, The Kingdom of Morocco invested heavily into dozens of projects. Modernization that includes a transition to renewable energy by 2030 and a plan to send a second satellite into space should help the country become an economic leader of the North African continent.

The Czech Republic and Morocco are negotiating cooperation in automotive, aircraft and weapons industries.

Babiš believes that Czech manufacturers would be able to reach markets of other African countries via the Kingdom. It lies on crossroads between Europe and Africa and it is up to us how we will be able to benefit from it, he added.
