On August 5, 1772 in Saint Petersburg, the treaties on the Partitioning of Poland were signed. The final act of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth’s collapse was initiated.

This act would not have been possible if not for the self-interest and statehood nihilism of many of our ancestors. Second and third partitions followed the first and then 123 years of slavery.

We had to pay with a sea of blood for our regained statehood.

On August 6, 2020, the largest opposition party boycotted the swearing in ceremony of president Andrzej Duda for his second term. Meanwhile, the Left came in rainbow masks and declared their support for yet another insane incarnation of the left-wing utopia.

Prior to all of this, the opposition media dumped a wash bucket all over the president who won re-election in such difficult conditions. They also did not forget to show disdain for his voters.
