The Ministry has confirmed that 55 percent of Polish people were in favor of the question: “Are you for establishing permanent US military bases on Polish territory?” Only 27 percent were against the idea.
MON states that according to 66 percent of those polled, Polish-American relations are good or very good. 14 percent claimed that they are bad. 56 percent said that a permanent US military presence would increase the country’s security. Only 4 percent were against the idea.

MON underlines, that as a result, they will opt for NATO and the USA to increase military involvement in Poland.

After an extended Washington meeting on Monday with John Bolton, the White House National Security Advisor, Poland’s Minister of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak received information that there is “support for the project ” of a permanent military base in Poland.
Błaszczak also said that the term “project Fort Trump” is being used more often.
