Without Western aid, the regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could not last 24 hours, according to Hungarian security policy expert György Nógrádi.
Speaking on Hungarian news channel Hír TV, Nógrádi noted that with regards to arms transfers to Ukraine from its allies, it was not only Hungary but also other NATO member states who opposed supplying military equipment to the Ukrainian army. He said the Poles, Scandinavians, British, and the United States were in favor of continuing the war.
“I’m already annoyed by Zelensky’s statements; he talks nonsense constituting a series of historical mistakes,” Nógrádi said.
Regarding arms shipments, he also said that most of the weapons sent to Ukraine had already appeared on third-world arms markets, without offering any real evidence to support this claim.
The expert said that if Zelensky did not receive Western support, he would not be able to remain in power for longer than 24 hours; he additionally claimed the Ukrainian president is being advised by the Americans on a daily basis.
