Poles are for “Fort Trump”

More than half of the Polish population are in favor of “Fort Trump” in Poland. According to a survey carried out by the Ministry of National Defense (MON), Poles believe that it would increase the country’s security.

The Ministry has confirmed that 55 percent of Polish people were in favor of the question: “Are you for establishing permanent US military bases on Polish territory?” Only 27 percent were against the idea.

MON states that according to 66 percent of those polled, Polish-American relations are good or very good. 14 percent claimed that they are bad. 56 percent said that a permanent US military presence would increase the country’s security. Only 4 percent were against the idea.
